Lusigetti Orthopaedic Hospital

Orthopaedic patients are a diverse population with varied and changing medical treatment needs. In response, this facility offers an architecture of changing needs and ongoing advances in medical technology.

The design team sought to not only ensure a serene environment for the recovering patients but also incorporate a creative and a visually stimulating design with diverse spaces for a range of activities for the patients to engage in as they recover.

Located in Lusigetti, Kenya, the design was a creative merge of the client’s brief and the hilly sightlines viewed from the site. The result is an organic masterpiece carefully curated into the landscape.
